As the senior partner of The Cochran Firm Wisconsin LLP, Willard P. Techmeier is known for his attention to detail and his high ethical standards. His record includes numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements, including a $25.2 million recovery on behalf of young electrical accident victim in 1993 that marked the largest single personal injury recovery in Wisconsin history.
Mr. Techmeier is licensed to practice in all of Wisconsin’s state and federal courts as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. He is also certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a civil trial advocate and civil pretrial advocate. In addition to representing his clients, Mr. Techmeier frequently serves as a speaker at continuing legal education seminars throughout the state of Wisconsin.
He has been listed in Wisconsin Super Lawyers every year since 2006 and recognized by Milwaukee Magazine as one of the area’s top personal injury attorneys. He also is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from St. Norbert College, Mr. Techmeier went on to earn his law degree from the Marquette University Law School in 1970. He joined forces with the national Cochran Law Firm in 2009.
