Kelly A. George’s practice at the Oklahoma law firm of Burch, George & Germany includes catastrophic injury claims, wrongful death litigation, and other matters on behalf of injured plaintiffs.
A 1989 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law, George has recorded many large verdicts and settlements for injured clients since 1997, when he and Derek K. Burch launched the law firm.
One of his significant achievements was a seven-figure settlement on behalf of an excavating-machine operator who was badly injured from a gas-line explosion resulting from the negligence of a utility company that had failed to properly identify the location of the line. Another was the settlement of a case involving a boy who suffered brain damage when a hospital failed to properly treat a post-tonsillectomy spasm by the boy.
In addition to his legal practice, Burch also operates a nearby farm that he took over following his father’s retirement.
