For more than four decades, attorney Ben C. Harrison has practiced law in South Carolina.
He focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, workers’ compensation and civil litigation.
He is licensed to practice in state and federal courts in South Carolina as well as the Fourth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.
Harrison earned his B.S. degree in Industrial Management from Clemson University in 1964 and his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1969.
In 2000, Harrison’s firm, Harrison & Hayes, merged with other Spartanburg law firms to form the law firm known today as Harrison, White, Smith & Coggins, P.C.
Harrison and firm partner John B. White Jr. were appointed by the South Carolina Attorney General to serve on a team that obtained a settlement of more than $2 billion with the tobacco industry.
Harrison is a recipient of The Compleat Lawyer Award from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
