During his summers as an undergrad student at Wake Forest University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, J. Blair Biser worked with his uncle’s law firm in Hartsville, South Carolina. From this experience he gained a diverse knowledge of Social Security law at a very young age. After he obtained his Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central School of Law, where he graduated with high honors and held a Chair on the Trial Advocacy Board, the Columbus County, North Carolina native joined Hardison & Cochran in 2005.
Mr. Biser is now the head of the Social Security division and thoroughly enjoys working for his clients each day he enters the office. He understands that the law within the Social Security system can be very confusing and works to make the process as simple as possible for his clients. Mr. Biser is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives, which is a group of over 3,900 attorneys and advocates who are committed to high quality representation of Social Security claimants. In 2010, Mr. Biser became a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Social Security Disability Law. Less than 1% of North Carolina attorneys hold this distinction.
