John Paul Godwin

John Paul is a native of Dunn, NC and attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where he received a Bachelor of Arts in history. After graduation, John Paul attended the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University. John Paul credits his stepfather, an attorney for more than thirty years, for introducing him to the law and as his inspiration for entering the legal profession. By observing and assisting his stepfather in his practice, John Paul was able to learn first hand how legal issues can have a profound impact on people’s lives. After his second year of law school, John Paul clerked with Hardison & Cochran and joined the firm as an associate after graduating from law school and successfully passing the North Carolina Bar Exam. John Paul’s practice focuses on both workers’ compensation and personal injury law.
