Jessica Healey was first drawn to North Carolina as an undergraduate, studying both Sociology and Art History at Duke University. After earning her Bachelor’s degree, Ms. Healey departed Durham and moved to New York City to begin her career in law.
Ms. Healey earned her Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law (Queens, New York). During her time in Queens, Ms. Healey served on the staff of the New York International Law Review and received the Pro Bono Service Award for her extensive volunteer work. She is especially proud of her work as a Law Guardian in the St. John’s Child Advocacy Clinic, representing children in abuse and neglect claims. In addition, she worked as a legal intern for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and provided volunteer services to the Student Hurricane Network in New Orleans, LA.
Ms. Healey believes that all clients deserve access to knowledgeable and enthusiastic representation. She has previously worked in business litigation and bankruptcy. She joined the Hardison & Cochran Mass Torts division in 2011.
