William H. Lawson is the founder of the law firm of William H. Lawson, Accident Lawyer Hawaii, which serves clients from all over the U.S. and the world with their claims in Hawaii. He has extensive experience (over 30 years) as plaintiff’s attorney in personal injury and wrongful death cases.
William H. Lawson earned his undergraduate degree from the Trinity College, Hartford, Conn. in 1974. He obtained his law degree (J.D.) from Stanford Law School in Palo Alto, California in 1977.
He began his legal career with the defense firm of Cades, Schutte, Fleming & Wright (for 2 years). In 1979 William H. Lawson started the law firm of William H. Lawson, Attorney at Law. At first he handled various different types of civil plaintiffs’ claims, and within a few years focused his practice on plaintiffs’ personal injury claims and related insurance cases.
Since 1979 the law firm of William H. Lawson, has handled serious injury cases involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death. William H. Lawson’s daughter, Amy Lawson Woodward, is also an attorney here in Hawaii although she works for a different firm.
William H. Lawson is admitted to practice in all Hawaii trial and appellate courts as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii, the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.
