Sean Banafsheh is a graduate of University of California Los Angeles, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He earned a Certificate in Dispute Resolution and a Juris doctorate degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he served as a member of the Moot Court Board and graduated in the top half of his class. While attending law school, Sean Banafsheh served as a summer intern to the Honorable Maureen Duffy-Lewis in the Criminal Courts Building. After being admitted to practice law before all California State Courts, as well as the United States District Court and Central District of California, he helped co-found Banafsheh, Danesh & Javid, P.C. where, as a Los Angeles Personal Injury Lawyer, he focuses exclusively on cases of serious personal injury and general negligence cases. Sean’s present involvement with Pepperdine Law School includes participating in legal seminars as a guest speaker and lecturer on various legal issues related to the private practice of law.

Sean’s interest in the practice of civil litigation was partially prompted by the tragic death of his mother, who lost her fight with cancer due to the medical malpractice of her physician who failed to timely diagnose her condition when Sean was only 13 years old. This experience gives Sean the ability to empathize and understand his clients in a way that allows him to obtain maximum results. But what distinguishes Sean most from other legal practitioners is his dedication to limit his caseload to only a handful of cases a year so that he is able to fully immerse himself in each case and to give each client his undivided attention throughout the entire legal process in order to obtain the best possible results.

Sean is involved with with The Alliance for Children’s Rights and in on the panel for Bet Tzedek.
